Sometimes we can get so caught up in running around doing what we think God wants from us. Sometimes though, what the Lord really wants is for us to seek to be with Him. Shall we pray that we set our "things" aside, and actually work on our relationship with Christ?

Could we still be trying to wash our hands while not carrying on to get what is going on in our hearts purified by our Lord? Shall we pray that Christ may make us new from the deepest parts of our soul?
On Our Part
How actively are we following the call of God to seek His face? Do we give Him ten or fifteen minutes a day? If so, how do we think we will ever find the Lord for ourselves?

Are we watching what we eat to make sure we are clean before God? Or are we watching what sentiments are flowing up and spilling out to see if we are in need of the redeeming power of Jesus Christ?
Intelligent Approach
Could we still be trying to win souls to Christ by using logic, clever words, or intellect? Is it time we start demonstrating a little child-like faith and watch the Holy Spirit work?
