Are we still trying to impress the Lord by what we put in our mouths? Is it because it is easier than being careful about the things we fling from it?
The Impulse to Pursue
God calls us each one. The way we respond is what will matter today and for all eternity. Shall we pray that we follow His impulse and go on to seek Him with all our hearts?

Are we still trying to convince ourselves or others of our belief in Christ? Or has our faith taken us to the next level and ushered us into an intense relationship with Him?

Got stuck in a routine or a spiritual habit? Is our religious experience missing the power and presence of the Lord? Shall we seek again to bring ourselves to the very feet of Jesus and turn our relationship with Him into something that will thrill the whole world?

What is it about us that lets the whole world know that we belong to the Lord? Is it a statement we made once-upon-a-time? Or is it our burning desire after Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior?

Are we careful that our faith is not just made up of a lot of big statements and proud boasts? Are we rightfully directing our energies into placing our hearts completely in His and then keeping them there?
Often Easier
Honestly, how much of our religion is truly bringing us into direct contact with the Lord? Has it given us the most intense and intimate of walks with our Savior? Or are we not making sure that it does?
