Paul, an apostle–sent not from men nor by man, but by Jesus Christ and God the Father, who raised him from the dead–, Galatians 1:1 NIV
She was tired after the exertion of giving birth to her baby and needed to rest. But she did not want to. She wanted to hold her baby. She wanted to cuddle it and love it with the strength of a mother. She had waited for this moment for so long. She struggled to believe that miracles could happen in our day. But as she stared down at her precious little baby, she had to admit that God still does shower us with gifts from above. Have you ever had anything so wonderful happen to you that you can admit that the Lord has performed a miracle in your life?
Christianity, in many circles, has become so complicated. The Bible was never intended for us to use to make whole institutions that divide up our world and make God hard to find or distant. Rather, the Scriptures give us people like Paul who were sent to help us understand God´s love for us. Could we open our hearts enough now to let a miracle from the Lord happen to us? Could we take this chance today to let the love of God fill our hearts and show us the wonders and joys of knowing our Savior Jesus Christ?
