A new philosophy has overcome us these days and people look at marriage in a different way. People go into a marriage already thinking that it may not work out somehow. They already come to terms with how they will deal with it. They can have it annulled or they may need to get a divorce. Somehow we have forgotten what marriage is all about. We forget that we are combining two lives in full sight of God. This should be a pretty big deal for us. If we were more concerned with what goes on before the Lord, then surely there would not be so many people already planning their way out of obligations they made in error. Perhaps we should pray that God is magnified in our lives until all our relationships reflect His everlasting quality and love too!
