There is a problem that we could all consider. The Pharisees thought that they knew what God wanted and that they could maneuver within the limits of the rules as they knew them so well. We could also fall into the same trap if we are not careful.

What if we could pray today that we will grow so close in our relationship with our Savior Jesus Christ, that we are sure to hear His guidance and His voice instead of trusting our own reason.

In that Way, perhaps we can be spared from overconfidence and made worthy through our simple faith in the One we know and love.
