There is often a lot of focus on the gifts that can come to those who believe in Christ. But the real reason that we come to God in the first place should be because of who and what He Is! Our great opportunity that comes through our belief is that we can each personally know what it is like to stand in the presence of God and become intimately involved with Him. Anyone who has ever come that close to the Lord will testify to the thrill and overwhelming sensations of awe that they have experienced before His throne. To walk with the Holy Spirit or with the Son of God will lift the heart of the daring seeker to heights unknown! If we truly want to know what real gratitude is, let us look even beyond the gifts of God so that we may be blessed by new revelations of the Giver Himself!
