The name of the star is called “Wormwood.” One third of the waters became wormwood. Many people died from the waters, because they were made bitter. Revelation 8:11 WEB
She was living through a very important time in her life when the coronavirus scare became the biggest news around. But where she and her family lived, they could not understand what all the fuss was about. She felt concern for the afflicted and suffering thousands, and then the decree came to her town too. She was confined to her house with her family. Nobody could go out and she did not even have a dog to walk. But she faithfully went out on her balcony every evening at 8 o´clock to clap for the people who put their lives at risk to care for those in need. Could we be living something similar to wormwood too?
God´s children the world over have started questioning just how far this new virus will go and how it will affect our lives. However, long before we stop to consider the future, we should each examine the present. Most of us have more time than ever to reflect on their relationship with God. Is that what we are doing? We need to remember that tomorrow always depends on what we do today. Next year or a few months from now depend on the choices we all make in these days we are living through. Eternity hinges on where our hearts are right now too! Let us take this as a wake-up-call and drive ourselves hard in the building of our relationship with God. If we could be filled with more of His Spirit now, we do not have to fear anything that tomorrow will bring!
Dear Lord,
Let us take the opportunity that today brings to draw even closer to You and to seek more of Your Spirit in us, we pray!
Amen
