What we do when times get tough is what defines us. Hard times will find each one of us. So, we should be aware of how we usually handle these more painful moments. We should think of it, examine ourselves, and try to prepare ourselves for when they spring upon us. We will be tempted to confront the difficulties ourselves. We often do struggle for a while before we realize that these conflicts were placed here to test us. But what if we jumped straight to what they can help us with? If we knew God wanted to see how much we trusted Him, then we would be quick and ready to hand all the control over to Him. Let us pray today that we learn to lean on the Savior more so that whenever it gets tough, we are already doing what will show the power of the Lord in our lives.
