Many people pray to God when they want Him to help them with something. Some don´t even realize they need help at all. Others try not to think about it or prefer to be distracted with this life we are living. But, there is another degree that we can reach. This is when awareness of a deep need for a Savior overwhelms an individual. This can drive the humble soul to seek the Lord in earnest. The Father and the Son have long awaited for this kind of heart. Into the needy, yearning heart the Holy Spirit can and loves to go. This is when believers change from nominal Christians into children of God´s Kingdom. This is where contact is made and hearts get filled. Let us pray for awareness today. Let us ask that we are moved so forcefully that our hearts are emptied and ready for our Lord to come in and be with us now!
