God´s Wrath to Pour

I heard a loud voice out of the temple, saying to the seven angels, “Go and pour out the seven bowls of the wrath of God on the earth!”  Revelation 16:1  WEB

The man did not attend church. But, he had been raised in a family of believers and had studied the Bible. His wife came from a completely different religious background. Her childhood religion had been pressed on her from a powerful church that stood firm in their old traditions. When they talked about their beliefs, she had no faith at all that the Bible was the inspired word of God. From what her church had sold her, she could not see that God could speak to us through His word. Any argument that her husband could come up with was instantly made frivolous and speculative because the god her church pushed was a god whose only purpose seemed to be to give the church more power. She could not hear any of the prophecies of what our world has to look forward to because the Word had been robbed of its spiritual significance. Could we stand to lose that too?

The Holy Scriptures has much to say concerning what mankind will face in the near and far future. We who still remain on this planet, do not have to answer to our husbands or wives in the end. The prophecies are written only for those who will listen. Time will tell. God will not be shamed in the end. Men will not be laughing when they will have to stand and face the Truth. The days we are now living in are swiftly turning as the breeze shifts. Pray for those who do not cling to the Word of God. Pray for those who do not have a Savior seated at the right hand of God. Pray for us all, that we will be by God´s side when His wrath must fall on our wayward world!

Dear Lord,

Forgive us for not taking You and Your prophecies more seriously! Save us from unbelief and change our hearts, we pray!
