Our Father in Heaven never intended for us to spend one moment outside of His presence. Any distance felt should make us turn and long for Him immensely. God has always gone to incredible lengths to show us that His arms are open for us to come. But it is our wayward nature to let distance creep in. When our eyes are opened and we realize that there is ground to be gained between us and that a closer relationship is waiting for us, the Way is open for us. Christ calls to our soul, the Spirit urges us from within, and the Father waits eagerly for us to respond. Let us pray that we sense the distance between the Lord and our souls and throw off anything that would keep us from turning and coming unto Him right now!
