If we try to convince others to a faith in God by using arguments on the legitimacy of the Bible or powerful texts, we should know that what we are selling may never truly place that person in contact with the Lord. We, humans, tend to congratulate ourselves on our choices and sit back comfortably with our newly found outlook. If we can give only one thing to those whom we would bring to Christ, let it be the expectancy of meeting Him, coming to know Him, and becoming exceedingly aware of His all-powerful presence. We do not need more people sitting in pews tucked away nicely in our churches. What we should be striving for is hungry people who, like us, are searching and striving for a more consuming and intimate interaction with the Spirit of God. There, in the very presence of the Divine, we will live and move and have our being!
