Many of us love the Christmas season because of the magical feeling that is in the air. We secretly feel like mysterious powers are at work and that the Lord is moving powerfully in loving ways. We would be thinking right of God and He is rewarded for His kindness when we open ourselves to cherishing Him in this way. However, our Benevolent Lord is in no way limited to this time of year. He does not come out of hiding only when bells chime or carols sing. The Savior is near every day of the year. God loves His children always. Our Father cares for us even when we are not looking for it. Let us pray for the kind of faith in Him that lets us recognize how near He is and hold tight to the knowledge that He is moving all around us every day year round!
