Behold, an angel of the Lord stood by them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified.  Luke 2:9

When we try to think of something that we may want to ask for this year, why not ask for more awareness of God? He is more powerful than we can imagine. He is closer to us right now than we can see. He is moving in ways that would thrill and surprise us if only we were able to detect them. So, if there is anything under the sun that we could have and should have, it has to be that ability that would enable us to appreciate all that our Lord is and is doing. Let us pray that the clouds will part and we will finally wake up to the presence of God With Us!
