There is a step of faith that far too many are not willing to take. It would set us apart from the rest of the world around us. Even our peers in our religious groups may not be willing to step so far out on a limb. They may not want to be in a situation where only God can back them up. However, trusting God is like that. If we cannot trust Him completely, if we cannot lean on Him when the whole world would tell us otherwise, then our faith is not worthy of Him. If words like this disturb us, we should examine again the caliber of our faith. It is a big step to trust God when everything else in our world is screaming for us not to. However, the precious few who will choose to step out, stand to experience what the angry crowd will not. These peculiar believers will come to know the mysteries and wonders that the rest have chosen to reject.
