If we want to find a mentor, we should go to Christ. Looking for our encouragement from other people will not be sufficient. This does not mean that others cannot be helpful, it simply means that salvation can only ever be found in the Son of God. Christ came to call the lost back into a relationship directly with the Father. This was never to be replaced with anything short of Him. If we tune ourselves to Christ we instantly tune ourselves to all that would end up in His Kingdom in the end. So let us make every effort to get into the presence of the Lord. Then if we remain there with Him, our walk on earth will find the direction we are looking for.
