6. But Peter said, “I have no silver or gold, but what I have, that I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, get up and walk!” 7. He took him by the right hand and raised him up. Immediately his feet and his ankle bones received strength. Acts 3:6-7
Something wonderful happens the moment we stop seeing the world with the earthly eyes that we have always looked at them and start seeing them with an eye for the presence and movement of God. Suddenly we realize that we had it all wrong. The fixed points that we had before to put our trust in, shift away from our book-learned teachers and begin to trust in The Teacher. We open ourselves to see everything with spiritual eyes and learn spiritual truths. We become aware of power and wisdom that run on a level never imagined before when our trust was something that we got from mortal men. We will be constantly amazed and bewildered at all that we learn of our God. It will be the most exciting thrill we could have ever hoped for!
