Lord, See Our Trouble

Behold, and answer me, Yahweh, my God. Give light to my eyes, lest I sleep in death; Psalm 13:3

When our troubles overcome us, hope seems to have lept out the window, but it hasn´t. Humans have forever groaned under the weight of despair. Yet, as long as we have God, we can hope. We can cry out, “Where are You Lord?” or “How long will You wait before You come to save us?” Crying is not bad. Crying is a part of the healing process. Crying to God is even better as it tunes us to the Almighty, Loving God.

When we have nowhere else to go, we turn to the One we should have turned to before everything else. The timber of people who run to God can also encounter Him. God has never left us for a minute, not through all the ages. We go all the time. Then, when we discover that we are not where we should be with Him, we wake up to dangers all around. Turn, seek, ask. Cry to the Lord now. Run like we never have back to Him. He will take us in His arms where nothing can hurt us forever!

Behold, and answer me, Yahweh, my God. Give light to my eyes, lest I sleep in death;  Psalm 13:3
