Of those who say they do, who perseveres with God each day? Some will admit to seeking Him in their morning devotions or in their evening prayers. Some will think of God at the weekends when they attend meetings. Yet the rare breed would seek the Lord all through their day.

It may seem too tender of a subject to put ourselves to the test. But, if we would like to call ourselves Christians, we will insist on working it out with the Lord. Questions we could bring up when we finally have the ear of our Savior are many. They could go like this,

• How often do I turn to God during my normal day?
• How deep are my conversations with Him when I do?
• Is it the Lord and His Kingdom that concern me or am I looking out for my interests?
• How tuned am I right now to God´s presence and movement?

Walking with God means that we treat Him as here with us in this relationship. So let us make our friendship with Christ the closest and most satisfying one we invest in today!

Yahweh looked down from heaven on the children of men, to see if there were any who understood, who sought after God.  Psalm 14:2
