We file into church, have our spirits lifted with a gratifying message, and then file out. Our prayers went up to God. We didn´t have to go, but we did. We praise the name of our Savior. We witness when we can. Yet how often do we wonder if we could be in more of an intimate relationship with the Lord?
Christ did not have much encouragement for the believers who did not make much of their beliefs. He called for driven souls. The general trend these days is to lead us into a set of standards. Some would fill our heads with walking a certain way amongst men. But the bottom line will always come down to walking with our Savior.
God would not send His Son to suffer what He did just so that our churches would change the rules or rituals we follow. He sent us Someone we could follow. That Someone is the One we should be walking each step of the way with. Let us seek Him now while we can still find Him!
For this, let everyone who is godly pray to you in a time when you may be found. Surely when the great waters overflow, they shall not reach to him. Psalm 32:6 (WEB)https://biblehub.com/psalms/32-6.htm
