Until The Time Comes

Until The Time Comes

He must remain in heaven until the time comes for God to restore everything, as he promised long ago through his holy prophets.  Acts 3:21 (NIV)

The Bible speaks often about times.  There is a time for everything.  It makes references between the times in the past and uses them to show of times still to come.  There is logic above the kind we humans use to determine at what time and how much time.  If the concepts of time are not familiar to us, then we should return to the Scriptures and pray over them fervently.  But for those who have heard or have learned a little of God´s times, timing and lengths of time, many a great blessing and comfort can come.

That God has set His times should give us cause to praise Him.  He knows better than we do when and how long something should take place.  That time belongs to God can give us an assurance greater than any human effort or promise could ever bring.  But the most inspiring and exciting thoughts are the ones we can still look forward to.

With regard to His Son Jesus Christ, God promised to send Him to us to save us and He did.  He raised Him.  Now He sits at His right hand.  But what infinite inspiration can we gleam from what has been promised about Jesus that will soon come to pass?

Dear God,

Thank You for giving us a front row seat in watching Your plan of salvation unravel.  Until the time comes for our Saviour´s return, let our anticipation grow each day we pray!
