Through Jesus

Hebrews 7:25 Through Jesus

Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them. Hebrews 7:25 NIV

Walking alone through the African Bushveld, a young man saw the tracks of an elephant on the ground. He was surprised and decided to follow them to see how fresh they were and if he might just catch a glimpse of the marvelous creature. The tracks lead him right up to a massive granite hill. The boy began to feel anxious that he may startle the creature resting in the shade. That would be disastrous as the immense beast would feel trapped and forced to charge. But his curiosity overshadowed his fear. As he approached the hill, he found that the tracks lead into a secret canyon between the rocks. His heart was racing as he followed the footprints through the dark trail. Suddenly the cliffs opened and he was safely out in the open again on the other side of the hill. Do we know the Way to come unto the Living God in Heaven?

God has given us a Way. Some people do not know it is there. Other people do not care to venture close enough to know Him. Jesus Christ is given for those adventurous souls who truly do want to know God. The path lies before us. The Holy Spirit is calling to us to enter in. Can we feel our hearts racing at the chance to walk with the Son of God? Are we ready to begin a thousand new discoveries of the wonders of God?  Only through Jesus can we come into the Promised Land. Shall we take the precious steps of faith and walk with our Savior today?

Dear Jesus,

By coming close to You we hear we will meet the Wonder that is our God. Please take us by the hand and lead us where nobody else can. Draw us close and take us to God, we pray!

Amen
