The prophecies of God continue to grow into reality as we watch the nations around us in turmoil and disorder. We hear of earthquakes, volcanoes, and tsunamis. Fear and uncertainty can easily grow in the hearts of those who stop to think about what our world is heading for. Yet for the humble of spirit, those who put their trust in God above, these can be positive signs. Not positive as we feel the pain and loss of those affected by these disasters. But positive when we realize that God´s promises are coming true. His plans are reaching their fulfillment. The day is approaching where mankind will soon see what God has been preparing for us throughout all these ages. He promised that we would see this, but He promised so much more. Hearing about these foretold troubles should only make us lean more upon Him. Watching them unfold before us should bring us an urgency and dire need within us to be close to Him. Great reward will follow, but it will be reserved for those standing near the Son. Shall we seek Christ out today and cling to Him for dear life?
