At a long table, the people who had come to work in a theme park in Italy sat down together to eat. There were people from nearly every corner of the planet. Some had grown up going in a Christian home. Some came from other religious backgrounds. But, in that setting, nobody discussed which form of worship was correct. Nobody boasted that their God was the true one. There were so many different opinions there that any argument would only drive people apart. Yet in that gathering, do we suppose that some were destined to come unto the God of Heaven?

We hear the prophesy and we may wonder after its meaning. We may speculate on who the tribes are and if the number is symbolic or not. Our job in life is not to be the first one to figure it out in our heads. What we gain from the Scriptures in our hearts is what counts. If our hearts are moved into action and we go from wherever we are and seek God from what we hear, then there is a chance that we may be among those precious few who are selected. One thing that we can be sure of is that there will be no one set apart for God that did not go out of his or her way to be there. So, when we look around at the people around us who believe in this way or that, let us feel a sense of urgency. Let us pray that our growing desire is to seek out the knowledge of God and to walk with His Son every day. That way, we will put ourselves into a good position to witness first-hand just who will be the Lord´s forever!

Humbly we come to You to ask if we can be admitted into the company of those set aside for You. Mark us, we pray!
