It could hurt us to stop and consider exactly how we are helping the needy people in the world around us. Sometimes we like to send a bit of money off to some charity or throw a little extra in the offering plate so that we can feel a little better about ourselves. But this is not what Jesus did. The Son of God stopped what He was doing or where He was going. He bent down. He took the time. He did what He could for those in need. When His example was set for us, He made the call for us all to follow His heart. So let us pray today that we do not pass up the opportunity to do good for those we meet today. Let´s spread God´s love and care to everyone around us now and make it our habit for life!
