There is a way that we can align all that needs to be right in our universe. At least that part of our universe that has to deal with us. That opportunity that comes to us is called prayer. We are not talking about the kind of prayer that we ask for all those things we have a fancy for. We are talking about the kind of heart-felt prayer that puts us on our knees, bowed before our God in humble submission. The kind of prayer that places us in need of our Savior for our very life is the kind of prayer that opens us up to real Life. The kind of prayer that removes all other desires and makes Christ our only hope is the kind of prayer that makes all the stars line up for us. The kind of prayer that throws us upon God as our only possession is the kind of prayer that makes us richer than the wealthiest person on earth. Prayer is our chance today to get our eyes off of this puny world where we live and let our souls be lifted up into the very arms of the Lord! Let us take this chance today has given us, and let our prayers float up to Heaven filled with adoration, love, and worship!
