God has never stopped speaking to His people all over the world. Unfortunately, there are fewer people all the time who care to take the time to listen for Him. It is just so difficult for modern man to take his attention off of his busy world. However, if we would like to call ourselves Christians and have anything at all to do with the Lord, then this is one special quality that we should learn. We should work hard, strive each day, and pray for constant improvement on our listening abilities. Christ called out often that those who had ears should hear. We could desire to please Him and let Him find in us that kind of receptivity. Let us pray not that God starts speaking to us, but that we will become aware of all that He wants to share with us today!

The God who spoke in the past is speaking yet.
