The beast that you saw was, and is not; and is about to come up out of the abyss and to go into destruction. Those who dwell on the earth and whose names have not been written in the book of life from the foundation of the world will marvel when they see that the beast was, and is not, and shall be present.  Revelation 17:  WEB

The lights went off in the massive hall just as the show was about to start. Then, in only a few spots on the giant arena floor, direct spotlights lit up solitary figures of some Spanish dancers. The beautiful and colorful dresses stood out sharply under the light as they began to dance gracefully to the soft music. The crowd marveled at the beauty of the scene. Then, into the scene came the host of the show riding on a horse-drawn cart. There is another event approaching where some will marvel too. Do we know why?

When God´s plan of salvation will soon play out, the Scripture says that there will be some who marvel. It tells us who those people are. They are the ones who were not moved to seek to have their names written in God´s Book of Life. This describes people in the world, from the world, and given to the world. It is a people who never gave the Lord a chance or sought Him in their lives. They are the ones who will marvel. But those who did lift the gaze of their hearts unto God, will not need to marvel. They will kind of expect that evil powers and signs will come. They will not be surprised because their hope will lie not on what they can see in the earth around them. Their hearts will be set on God and His Kingdom. Let´s pray that we choose the right kind of person we will be!

Dear Lord,

As we see prophecy coming true and we must marvel, let it be in the blessed hope that we have found in You, we pray!
