There are a million things in this world that would make it difficult or impossible for us to come truly unto God. But great journeys are not made by a leap straight to the destination. They are made one step after the other. We do not need to jump straight to being the cleverest theologian. We do not need to despair when we find that our righteousness is still as filthy rags. What we need to focus on is our Savior more and more each day! Every step we take closer to Him, and every moment we can spend with Him will work miracles of faith and provide us with the growth that we seek. Each improvement we make in our relationship as we grow closer to the Lord will magnify our faith and more assuredly into the embrace of our Father in Heaven! Oh, what bliss, to be near Him!
