When the young couple had been dating for about eight months, the boy needed to go back to his country to sort out some paperwork. He asked her to come. She said yes. Years later, when the two were already married they moved to California together. This time the girl asked her sister and her husband to come and visit. The sister was delighted to say yes. Both trips turned out to be wonderful experiences for the young ladies and they made so many beautiful memories during their travels. Now, years later still, there is a new call for them to come. Christ this time is inviting them to come to know Him and the wonders of God. Can we hear the Spirit calling us too?

When we hear the words to come, it is not an invitation to join a particular religious group or a set of doctrines. In many religious circles these days we may get that impression. But, when we hear the Holy Spirit calling unto our souls, it is to bring our hearts and approach the Wonder that is our God. We are being invited into a relationship with the Divine! God is calling us to draw near to Him. We can come. We can come close. We can come to know Him personally. It will be a journey of the soul. Our hearts will experience things with the Lord that we never could have imagined. Are we ready for the journey of our lifetime? Would we like to see what God wants to share with us? Let´s give in to the call, take the chance, and set out on the venture with Christ that could last forever!

Dear Lord,

Let our hearts leap up when we hear Your call to come unto You! Make it our greatest desire to seek You and walk with You and discover the wonders of knowing You, we pray!
