What We Cannot Let Happen

Reading a post this morning from my daily devotional reading, I was stunned to read of how some family member of the author had been convinced that Christ was with her when she was alone. No mention and no encouragement came across throughout the whole article that we too could grow that close to the Lord. It made me want to cry and not to praise the Lord as our words should do. It made me think of what we all do every day. It made me check my own actions and words. We cannot let it happen that people who are influenced somehow by us go off to make it through their day alone! Each believer everywhere needs to make it our mission in life to get to know the Lord. We need to cultivate our relationship with God to the point where we become aware of His presence and then stay that close and walk with Him the rest of our days! If not, we are only toying with our faith!
