We often think of thanking the Lord when our storehouses are full-to-overflowing. However, we should not be so hasty in overlooking the times when God gives us just enough to get by. Often it is when we know that we need Him that we put the time into finding Him. We spend time with Christ in prayer when we desperately need Him near. Our greatest blessing is always the presence and care of our Heavenly Father. His presence and His Spirit are what we truly need. So, when we start feeling like we deserve more than we have, let us make an effort to shift our desire into having more of Him. Whether we have much or whether we have little, if it means more of a walk with our Savior, then it is exactly what God should give us! Pray that we are blessed today, but let us pray that whatever it brings we end up closer to the Lord!
