A small child falls and they run to their mother. They find comfort there, wrapped in her arms. When we grow up, our problems only seem to grow along with us. We may not be able to throw ourselves into the arms of our caring earthly mothers, but there are arms that we can still wrap up in. The arms of God are big enough to comfort even the most devastated soul. God´s arms are strong enough to protect us from small threats, big life-threatening dangers, and even the unseen evil that would do us in. If we run to the Lord, no matter what we are facing, all our woes will be in His hands. They are the most capable hands and infinitely caring. If we cannot sense His presence when we look for Him, just snuggle in closer. Anyone who truly throws themselves into the embrace of Christ will surely reach the point where their eyes and hearts will finally open. Then they will know they are right where they should be.
