Making people think that we do not need to grow our relationship with Christ may be one of the greatest deceptions against the remnant of God. Although nobody may say it outright, there is a notion within nearly every church today that we have reached a point where we do not need to seek a more intense relationship with the Lord. We congratulate ourselves on our choices of religion, doctrines, denominations, and so on. However, if we truly want to find ourselves with Jesus Christ by our side one day, we must resist any deception that may stunt our growth or jeopardize our salvation. Dark powers are at work and they will stop at nothing to prevent us from strengthening the bond between God and us. So, let us pray today for a renewed interest and determination in growing what we have with the Lord. Pray for more of God´s Spirit in us and in our lives!
