If we have ever had wild dreams of having some especially close relationship with the Lord, some things will be required from us for us to ever achieve it. First of all, we must have a desire for it to happen. One can easily say they want to have God as a dear personal Friend, but without cultivating that desire within, nothing will ever come of their claims. The next ingredient feeds from the first, and that is when desire stirs us to move. To walk with God means getting out of our easy chairs and going wherever it takes to find Him. We must seek the Lord or He will never be found by us! This brings us to a point where only a few privileged souls have ever aspired to. The sweet daily walk where an unbroken encounter is enjoyed is entirely within our grasp. However, the special believers that make it this far will find that they arrived there by doing all the little things that have made their relationship with the Lord so sweet and so real all along.
