For Yahweh is righteous. He loves righteousness. The upright shall see his face. Psalm 11:7
“We´ll see.” These two words mean so much. We use them more often than we think. The meaning varies with the situations we find to use them. When we are unsure about the future, “We´ll see.” When we know for sure that fuller light will come to our situation, “We´ll see.” When opinions vary and we will find out who got it right, “We´ll see.” When someone wants something but must prove themselves worthy before they receive it, “We´ll see.”
Yet there is one way God uses the words “We´ll see” that shines far above all the common little ways we use it. Our Lord makes us a promise that is exclusive and inclusive. Within His promise, we can find hope or despair. We find Heaven or hell. We find ourselves in a close and exclusive relationship with the King of Kings, or we find ourselves forever banished from His presence. We will receive the highest possible honor there is to gaze on the very face of God, or not!
