Quiet thoughts that never leave our minds nor slip out from between our lips do not escape the attention of the Divine. God sees it all! We insult our Maker when we act as if He has no clue where our intentions lie. Yet, we often try to hide things even from ourselves. Something deep within says, “Don´t make a big deal of your thoughts, or God will know what you are thinking.” So we cover up our desires. We do not need to be detectives to know when we are pleasing the Lord and when we are more interested in ourselves. Brushing it off helps us feel like we don´t incriminate ourselves.

Our dilemma has a cure. There is hope for those who truly love the Lord. We can place God back up upon the throne within our hearts if He is truly what we are concerned about. As long as we are concerned first about ourselves, it will never work. But, if we turn, start investigating our motives, and turn them all over to Him, He will be our God. We will be His people. His eyes will see it all! Let us go now, take it as far as we have to, and make sure we are with Him for good!
