We have all been there. Fear grips us. We begin to realize that we are way in over our heads. The heart plummets, and our heads reel. In desperation, we look this way and that. No help. No way out! We are through! But wait! Is there hope?
There is! If our hope is in the Lord, there is always somewhere to turn. And, there lies the trick!
When we turn our attention from us to Him, we start to see the glimmer. When we take our eyes off of our situation, then our gaze can go above it all. When we look to Christ, not even death can harm us!
So, when the darkness of this valley of death grips our souls, help is nearer than we imagined. Look up. Set the focus on our Savior. He is with us now. Where Christ is, all is safe at last, no matter how dark or deep this valley may seem!
