We hear the reminder. It says to be strong. We can take courage. When we believe in God, we have hope. This reminder is true. But it might help to consider why.

The world that runs after everything else under the sun will find no real answers. But, the few peculiar ones whose hearts reach up for God will. They may not yet see, but His strong hands are ready to move to save them.

The reason they can be strong is not anything that they own. It lies in the direction they are looking. The God they set their gaze on is mighty. While we are staring at Him, all kinds of wonders may happen. Those who do will testify. We will know what courage feels like when our souls witness the God of Armies in action.

Step close. Focus all on the God of Wonder. As He begins to eclipse our puny, chaotic world, all who hope in Him will be amazed!
